Harry Stien Jr., 90, of Pekin, passed away at 9:28 am Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Pekin Hospital. He was born March 3, 1928 in Pekin to Harry Stien Sr. and Mary Eldert Stien. He married Barbara Moore January 17, 1948 in Pekin. She preceded him in death April 25, 1997 in Pekin. Surviving are sons: David (Cheryl) Stien, Denny (Linda) Stien, and Roger (Elaine) Stien all of Pekin; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one brother Joe (Mary) Stien of Peoria; and one brother-in-law Bill Moore of New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, grandson Joshua Stien, and sister Patricia Sheridan. Harry was a member of Plumbers Local # 63, and also owned Stien Plumbing & Heating. He was a member of Pekin Moose Lodge # 916; Pekin Elks Lodge #1271, and former member of Masons Scottish Rite Temple in Peoria and the Pekin Boat Club. He was a member of Pekin Bible Church, where he enjoyed singing in the choir. Other things he enjoyed were boating, bowling, and woodworking. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin. A funeral service will be Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Harry Stien Jr., 90, of Pekin, passed away at 9:28 am Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Pekin Hospital.
