Heather Lee Neal

She was born May 12, 1988 in Pekin to Richard Williams and Shannon (Gulley) Cary.

Surviving are one daughter, Brooklynn Thomas of Bartonville; her parents, both of Creve Coeur; one sister, Kaitlin Smith of Pekin; two brothers, Michael Campbell and Alexander Smith, both of Pekin; her maternal grandmother, Sheryl Southey of Bartonville; her paternal grandmother, Mary Williams of Pekin and her aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Mitchell Dove; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Gulley and her paternal grandfather, Donald Williams.

Heather last worked for Trillium Staffing Services in Bartonville.

An avid reader, Heather was a passionate and loyal person who loved listening to music and meditating.

She was excited about graduating from Tazewell County Drug Court on December 1st after two years of sobriety.

A gathering celebrating Heather’s life will be at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
