Heidi M Sokolowski

She was born October 9, 1980 in Peoria to Delbert Eugene and Lorey Jean (Barfield) Bice.

Surviving are her mother of Creve Coeur; her father of Deer Creek; two sons, Kaden Scott Sokolowski and Landon James Sokolowski, both of Pekin; one brother, Zeke Ryan Bice of Creve Coeur; her maternal grandmother, Dorothy M. Barfield of Creve Coeur; her paternal grandparents, Kenneth Eugene and Norma J. Bice of McCaysville, Georgia and one aunt, Dianne L. (Don) Lairson of Green Valley. She also leaves her two cousins, Heather L. Holt and Joshua E. McFarland, both of Green Valley.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald James Barfield.

A graduate of East Peoria Community High School, Heidi attended Christ Bible Church in Creve Coeur.

She was patient account specialist for Data Management, Inc. in Peoria for several years, last working this past Friday.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2007at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Creve Coeur Chapel. The Rev. Tom Pisano will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2007at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.

Memorial contributions may be made to a fund established for her children in care of Southside Bank.
