Helen L Grimm

MORTON ~ Helen Louise Grimm, 90, of 935 East Jefferson Street, died at 1:50 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2005 at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton. She was formerly of 2001 Grant Street in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Born August 11, 1915 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Hiram and Edna Gerten House, she married Durward "Bud" Grimm on July 31, 1942 in Phoenix, Arizona. He died January 1979 in Terre Haute, Indiana. Her parents also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Jannan Rybacki of Green Valley and Carol Grimm of California; nine grandchildren, Raymond Stark, Jr., Shannon Stark, Robin Henderson, Kim Phillips, Annette Phillips, Melanie Floyd, Dan Floyd, Matthew Rybacki, and Angie Rybacki; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.

A homemaker, Helen enjoyed cake decorating, embroidery, singing, and whistling. She loved her church.

She was a member of Eastside Community Church in East Peoria and a former member of Calvary Temple in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2005at Grandview Cemetery in Terre Haute, Indiana. The Rev. Kyle Andrews will officiate. There will be no visitation.
