Born January 1, 1922 in Oak Hill to Chauncey and Eva (Taylor) LeMaster, she married Richard G. Snyder on October 15, 1940 in Iowa. He died March 24, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents,one brother; and one sister.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy (Tim) McMullen of North Pekin; two sons, Jim (Cathy) Snyder of London Mills and Robert Snyder of Lewistown; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A homemaker, Helen loved antiques, cats, dogs, and especially birds.
Helen was of the Christian faith.
Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.
