

Helen was born August 9, 1939 in Pekin to Walter Franklin and Anna May (Franklin) Sapp. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Surviving are four sons, Dennis (Millie) Spradley Sr. of North Pekin, Robert Sprenkle, Steven Sprenkle and John Sprenkle, all of Pekin; two daughters, Annette (Ron) Duncan of Pekin and Lanette; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Helen was a caretaker at Doors for 50 years.
She loved spending time with her family and volunteering at the Salvation Army. Helen was a solider and Sunday School Teacher at the Salvation Army for many years.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
