Holly J Killion

Born December 28, 1969 in Pekin to Joe and Gloria (Schappaugh) Colson, she married Robert Killion on July 13, 1987 in Lily.  He survives.

Also surviving are her children, Cody Lee Killion, Charissa Marie Killion and Colton Sean Killion, all of Pekin; one grandson, Gabe Killion of Pekin; two sisters, Becky Jo (Jay) Zentko fo Bartonville, Debbie Jo (John) Hetrick of Norwalk, Iowa; and one brother, Randy Colson of Fredericksburg, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Holly served six years in the United States Navy as a Registered Nurse, until she retired medically in 2006 as a lieutenant.

After retiring from the Navy, she continued her education and became a Nurse Practitioner.  She had most recently worked at the Family Quick Care Clinics and for United Health Care.  Holly loved her patients and they loved her in return.

Family was the most important thing in Holly's life.  She loved her family and cherished time spent getting to know her grandson, Gabe.

Her memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Speakeasy Art Center at 353 Court Street in Pekin.  Pastor Steven Tibbetts will officiate.  Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
