Holly Nicole Quarles

Born December 5, 1988 in Peoria to Gary Lowe and Denise Higdon, she married Stephan Quarles on January 1, 2011 in Nashville, Tennessee. He survives.

Also surviving are her parents, Denise (Del) Wood of Manito and Gary (Kelly) Lowe of Nevada, Missouri; one son, Maxwell Rowan Quarles; four siblings, Melissa White of Peoria, Lori (Phil) Brown of Tremont, Samantha (Will) Thompson of Nevada, Missouri and Jack Lowe of Nevada, Missouri; many nieces, nephews and cousins and one great-nephew.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Holly was a Family School Liaison for L. E. Starke Elementary School in Pekin.

She loved spending time with her family and making them laugh. She enjoyed going shopping, working on puzzles, playing memory games and reading.

Holly was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Peoria, and she enjoyed volunteering at the church.

Her memorial mass will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2026 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Peoria with time for fellowship following the service. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
