Ina Jewel Woods

Born July 6, 1934 in La Follette, Tennessee to Henry and Lillie Mae (Ferguson) Foust, she married Alvin J. Woods on February 2, 1949 in Tennessee. He died December 28, 2024. Ina was also preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings and her beloved dogs, Mandy and Eli.

Surviving are her two sons, Johnny (Elizabeth Susan) Woods and Alan (Sharon) Woods, both of South Pekin; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ann Young and one brother, Lonnie Foust.

Ina had worked at Rexall Drug and as a waitress for many years. Family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life.

She was of the Christian faith and attended Community Fellowship Church in South Pekin.

There will be no services at this time. A private burial will be held at Woodrow Cemetery in rural Pekin.
