He was born September 20, 1954 in Pekin to Elmer Leroy and Freda Mae (Johnson) Doman.
Surviving are his children, Amanda (Kevin) Arrowsmith of Heyworth, J. Aaron (Kat) Doman of Fort Mill, South Carolina and Breanna (Jeremy) Hubbard of Pekin; two grandchildren, Aubrey Arrowsmith and Winston Doman and his former wives, Kathy Freed and Debra Gensel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Dorothy (Fuller) Doman; two sisters, Jessie Lee and Pixie Doman and one brother, Elmer Charles Doman, Sr.
Jack worked as an electrician and supervisor at Caterpillar, Inc. for 36 years, retiring in 2009.
He enjoyed traveling and had spent two years in Florida. He especially loved his family and taking trips together. In his free time he enjoyed boating and spending time with his dogs. Jack grew up with horses, he had been bull rider and a previous member of the Pekin Riding Club.
Jack was a former member of Pekin Bible Church.
His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Dan Larimore will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
