

Born January 15, 1934 in Pekin to Charles and Marie (Spahr) Hudson, he married Linda Marten on November 15, 1960 in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Marie (Raymond) Erps of Pekin; one son, Stan (Kim Marshall) Hudson of Jerseyville; two grandchildren, Brandon Hudson of New York City and Danielle (Brad) Wall of Chillicothe; two great-grandchildren, Landon Wall and Brynn Wall of Chillicothe and one brother, Kelvin (Florence) Hudson of Riverton. He is also survived by his favorite nephew, Gary (Margaret) Frazell.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.
Jack had worked for American Distillery for many years until its closing. He later worked for the Pekin Park District doing course maintenance.
He had been a member of the Pekin Moose Family Center 916. He was an avid golfer and loved to watch his grandchildren play sports. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers. He will be missed by his dog and best friend, Misty.
Private services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Michael K. Roberts will officiate. There will be no visitation. For anyone who knew Jack, please join the family for a celebration of life on December 23, 2014 at 5 p.m. at the Pekin Moose Family Center. The family kindly requests that you bring a covered dish.
