Jackie L Trotter, Jr.

Born August 3, 1966 in Peoria to Jackie Lee, Sr. and F. Joann (Buchanan) Trotter, he married Cathy Ann Malavolti on December 3, 1995 in Groveland. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother, Joann Trotter of Peoria; one daughter, Catherine Joann Trotter of Pekin; one sister, Pamela Trotter of Peoria; and several nieces and nephews including, Eric Black of Peoria.

His father preceded him in death.

He had served in the United States Army.

Jackie worked at Superior Pest Control in Washington since 2007, last working Monday.

He attended karate classes at the Pekin YWCA and held a brown belt.

Jack also enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and radio control cars. He loved anything to do with the military.

His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin, where visitation will be one hour before the funeral. The Rev. Bill Allen will officiate. Burial will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin on January 30, 2014.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Catherine Trotter Education Fund in care of the funeral home.
