James A Bullock

Born February 23, 1938 in Peoria to Kenneth A. and Eleanor Myrtle (Huff) Bullock, he married Gayle Virginia Shelton on December 4, 1961 in Peoria. She survives.

Also survivingaretwo daughters, Julie A. (Mark) Casey of Metamora and Jodie L. Bullock of East Peoria; three grandchildren, Matthew James Casey and Joshua Ryan Casey, both of Metamora and Brock Steven Bullock of East Peoria; one sister, Jean Kraft of Sacramento, California; and one brother, Robert (Diana) Bullock of Metamora.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jim received a degree in horticulture from Illinois Central College in East Peoria.

Jim worked in landscaping/maintenance at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria from 1988 to 2004. Previously, he had worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for five years and the Rock Island Railroad for ten years.

Jim enjoyed gardening, bicycling, and spending time with his grandsons.

He served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1963.

Private services will be held. Cremation will be accorded.
