He was born September 1, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to John Smith and Marjorie Louise (Kelly) Lennie. His parents and one brother, John Lennie, preceded him in death.
Surviving are two sisters, Barb (Greg) Martin of Washington and Maggie Lieupo of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and one brother, Frank Lennie of Coopersville, Michigan.
James had worked for Comcast in Minnesota.
There will be no services and cremation will be accorded.
Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
