James B Williams

He was born August 7, 1951 in Pekin to Charles and Catherine (Bramlage) Williams. His parents preceded him in death.

Surviving are one son, Zac (Teri) Williams of Pekin; one daughter, Ashly (Kelly O’Brien) Williams of Elgin; four grandchildren, Morgan Williams, Mckinlee Williams, Elliot O’Brien and Tate Williams; two sisters, Debbie (Virble) Stubbs and Julie (Ron) Rose, both of Arkansas; and former spouses Debbie Drury and Annette Sniff.

James worked out of the Laborers’ Local 231 in Pekin, retiring in 2011.

A devoted father and grandfather, James was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and University of Michigan fan.

His memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Private burial will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Tazewell Animal Protective Society, 100 TAPS Lane, Pekin, IL 61554.
