She was born January 30, 1947 in Metropolis to Fred and Nina (Lewis) Russell. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Missy Dawn; one brother; and two sisters.
Surviving are her sister, Judy (Howard) Shadoan of South Pekin; two nieces, Cindy (Charles) Linton and Tina (Doug) Dawson, both of South Pekin; and one nephew, Darrin (Sheila Shea) Blasdel of South Pekin.
A homemaker, Janice was of the Baptist faith.
Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services.
