

Born on July 12, 1981, in Pekin, a son of Tony and Melinda (Foster) Bloom.
He worked as a Journeymen for the Sheet Metal Local # 1 in Morton from 2008-2014. Jason was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears. He loved spending time with his family, especially swimming with his nieces and nephews. Jason enjoyed playing poker with friends and watching Dragon Ball Z.
Jason is survived by his father, Tony (Corena) Bloom of Marquette Heights; two brothers, Justin (Chelsea Arnold) Bloom of Pekin and Riley Bloom of Marquette Heights; one sister, Katie (Chris) Henderson of Marquette Heights; one great grandmother, Karen Roots of Pekin; five nephews, Hunter Bloom, Riker Bloom, Bailey Henderson, Brady Henderson, and Braxton Henderson; two nieces, Hannah Bloom and Kaylin Arnold.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Melinda Foster; grandparents, Joe (Dixie) McQueen and his great grandfather,
Everett Roots.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory Pekin Chapel. Memorial service will start at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Judy Doyle will officiate the service. A Private family inurnment will be held on a later date at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
