To Jeff's family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers daily. I met Jeff while attending ICC and together Jeff, Matt Alvey and I skipped out of Math class together every Wednesday to go get breakfast at McDonalds in Creve Coeur. I used to tease them all of the time that they were corrupting me, but truth be told, I am a better person for having known Jeff! I used to be way too follow the rules kind of person, and becasue of Jeff, I learned to loosen up and be more flexible.  I used to tease Jeff about being a farmer, so in my Kiddie Lit class I wrote a story called "Farmer Urish's Farm". He turned six shades of red when I showed it to him and told him I read it to my college Lit class. I always loved his rosy cheeks and curly blonde hair.  I used to tell him, he was too pretty to be a boy. Jeff and I used to put different things on each other's cars, so you got a surprise when you left school. Toward the end of our last year there, I will only say they "things" we left for each other started to get a little embarrassing. Jeff was always good for a laugh, and I miss that.  I did run into him a few years ago when he was working on a job in Morton. We talked and laughed about the old days at ICC. Let his humor and memories help to ease this difficult time. He may be gone from this earth, but he and his father are probably waiting in Heaven for "mushroom hunting" season!
