Jennifer Sue Lee

She was born November 26, 1972 in Pekin to William E. and Penny (Smith) Lee.

Surviving are one daughter, Meagan (Tanner Johnson) Jennings of Pekin; one son, Austin Jennings of South Pekin; her father and step-mother, William and Janet Lee of Pekin; her mother, Penny Deal of Pekin; two step-daughters, Kailey Darnell of Pekin and Kendra Darnell of Goofy Ridge; one step-son, Naithyn Darnell of Pekin; four grandchildren, Jerzye Stroud, Carter and Novaleigh Bowen and Realynd Jones; one sister, Tina (Gary) Horrie of Danvers; one brother, Clint Harris of Ohio; one step-sister,, Hollie Jordan of Pekin; two step-brothers, Kevin (Cherie) Jordan of Pekin and Dennis (Rachel) Jordan of Murphysboro, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews and her boyfriend, Christopher Darnell.

Jennifer was a self-employed childcare provider for many years.

A loving and caring, daughter, mother, grandmother and sister, Jennifer enjoyed being outdoors and watching soap operas.

Her funeral will be at 6 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Paul Helmig will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
