Jeremy J Shults

He was born June 15, 1976 in Pekin to Rickie Eugene and Deborah Kay (Gale) Shults.

Surviving are his father and step-mother, Rick and Susan Shults of Pekin; one daughter, Kassandra Shults of Secor; one step-brother, James Hasty of Pekin; grandparents, John and Gayle Shults, Allen and Carolyn Gale, and Frank and Loretta Shue, all of Pekin; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends.

His mother preceded him in death.

Jeremy was a tattoo artist for Daddy O’s in Pekin, last working in November.  Previously, he worked as a welder at Morton Metalcraft for several years.

Jeremy enjoyed fishing, camping, drawing, and music.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.  Pastor James Hawkins will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Spring Lake Cemetery in rural Manito.

Memorials contributions may be to the family to help with expenses.

There will be a benefit for Jeremy at a later date.
