Jerry L Norris

He was born July 17, 1959 in Pekin to John E. and Joann (Sidell) Norris Sr.

Surviving are two brothers, John Norris Jr. of Pekin, Michael Norris of Leavenworth, Kansas; one sister, Patricia Seagraves of Pocahontas, Illinois; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Steven Seagraves; and one nephew, Kenneth Seagraves.

Jerry had worked at Syngenta for 15 years before retiring. He previously had worked in construction.

He was a regular at Stone’s Midway Tap in Pekin. Jerry loved to play cards and dice, fish, cook, and spend time with friends and family. He was a Green Bay Packers fan.

There will be a gathering celebrating Jerry’s life from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Stone’s Midway Tap in Pekin. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory.
