John Allan Flier

Born May 28, 1952 in Peoria to L. Raymond and Donna Jean (Brill) Flier, he married Telina “Tina” Gaye Pierce on June 5, 1992 in Panama City, Florida. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Tanya (Josh) Kaster of South Carolina; one stepson, Terence Eckman; two grandchildren, Edward Reese and Angel Reese; two sisters, Debra (Scott) Crabtree of Pekin and Vickie (Robert) Schroen of Union City, Tennessee; one brother, Larry Flier of Pekin and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Pam Goodin.

John served honorably in the United States Army.

A very hard worker, he was a delivery driver for Sil’s Motor Homes in Panama City, Florida for many years. He then worked as a public driver for Pacesetter for ten years, retiring in August of 2024.

John loved his wife, family and friends very much. He enjoyed watching wrestling and NASCAR and tinkering on cars, using the mechanical skills he learned from his father.

There are no scheduled services at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
