

He was born December 2, 1946 in Pekin to William and Dora (Turner) Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Robert Rogers, James Rogers, and an infant brother.
Surviving are his three children, Cindy (Alfred) Burns, Jeff Rogers, and Wendy (Danny Lopez) Rogers, all of Pekin; four grandchildren, Kelsi (Jack) Alexander of Seattle, Washington, Shaylynn (Randall Davidson) Burns, Megan (Cameron Swisher) Porter, and Jaden Rogers, all of Pekin; one great-grandchild due in July; and many other nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
Bill was a jack of all trades. A truck driver, Bill also was a diesel mechanic, pilot and engineer. He also built houses, stock cars, and motorcycles. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing pool and was a volunteer fireman for Schaeferville Fire Department.
There will be no services. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
