

Born May 19, 1962 in Pasadena, Texas to Eugene and Effie (Hall) Wyman, he married Julie A. Cross on August 10, 1979 in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, John (Toni) Wyman of East Peoria and Ronald (Molly) Wyman of Pekin; one daughter, Amanda (Brandon) Bailey of Pekin; 13 grandchildren, Zach, Brooklynn, Aubrey, John, Sydney, Lance, Braden, Maia, Isabella, Haven, Ellary Wyman and Paul and Kylie Bailey; one brother, Eugene (Margie) Wyman of South Pekin and four sisters, Elaine Richey, Evonne Johnson and Sue Thompson, all of Pekin and Jill (Joe) Nizzia of Cuba.
John was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Earleen Nizzia and one brother, Kenneth Wyman.
He had worked out of the Bricklayers Local #6 from 1982 to 2004.
John enjoyed camping, fishing and watching NASCAR and football at Ol’ Dad’s Place.
His visitation will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2018 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin, with graveside service following at 4 p.m. at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin. Pastor Shane Hawkins will officiate.
