Joyce M Beer

Born August 31, 1942 in McLean County to James and Bernice Clark Taylor, she first married Jack Leroy Foote. She later married Jay Dee Beer on October 2, 1970 in Pekin.

Surviving are her husband; 2 daughters, Tina Michelle Foote of Pekin and Regina Marie (Mark) Newlun, Sr. of San Jose; 5 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Linda Godar of St. Peter, Missouri, Patty (Don) Hill of Boise, Idaho, and Barbara (Don) Piercy of Indianapolis; and 2 brothers, Tom (Joanne) Prunty of Chicago, and Steve (Kate) Taylor of Cedar City, Utah.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 son, Randy Foote.

Joyce last worked as a secretary/receptionist for the Community Workshop and Training Center in Pekin.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pekin.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and reading.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2006at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin chapel. Visitation will beone hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito.
