Born May 22, 1925 in Pekin to Vernon and Ann (Dourlain) Hancock, she married Walter A. “Pete” Koch on December 3, 1950 in Pekin. He died December 26, 1992. Joyce was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Frances Hancock and two nephews, David Speck and Douglas Speck.
Joyce is survived by her nephew, Mark Speck of San Diego, California.
Joyce was a secretary at Corn Products Company in Pekin for many years before retiring.
She was an avid golfer and a former Pekin City Golf Champion in earlier years.
Her graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2025 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. There will be no visitation.
