Judith A Buhl

Born December 31, 1958 in Pekin to Billy E. and Irma Grace (Horner) Hohimer, she married Robert LaFond. She later married Michael Dennis Buhl on November 2, 2002 in South Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Ronald LaFond of South Pekin; one daughter, Katrina LaFond of Chillicothe; six grandchildren, Gracie, Gavin, Colton, Savannah, Keagan and Nevaeh; two step-brothers, Anthony Piro of South Pekin and Richard Piro of Vienna and two stepsisters, Katherine (Terry) Davis of Manito and Deborah Feilner of Pekin. She also leaves her stepfather, Ronald W. Piro of South Pekin.

Her parents preceded her in death.

She attended South Pekin Congregational Church

Judy worked as a CNA and Counselor for Tazwood Mental Health Center in Pekin. She also had worked the past few years as an AVON Representative in the South Pekin area.

Judy was a movie buff and enjoyed knitting.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2008at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Tom Cone will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2008at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
