Judith May Hulett

Born April 6, 1941 in Peoria, she was the daughter of Elliott and Rose Louise (Waldbesser) Wilson.

Surviving are four children, Anthony Piro of Pekin, Kathy (Terry) Davis of Manito, Debbie (Doug) Shallenberger and Richard Piro, both of Pekin; five stepchildren; eleven grandchildren; eleven step grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and one brother, Bruce Altum, Jr. of Rockford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Hulett and three brothers, Kendall Bissell, Floyd “Terry” Wilson and Jerry Bissell.

She was retired from Caterpillar, Inc.

Judy loved to sew, was a fan of Tom Selleck and enjoyed watching westerns on television.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Pekin.

Her memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Steven M. Rowell and Pastor Phillip Hulett will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Cremation has been accorded.
