Karen A. Norton

PEKIN~ Karen A. Norton, 69, of Pekin, passed away 3:39 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2021 at Timbercreek Rehab & Health Care in Pekin.

Born November 11, 1951 in Pekin to Lloyd and Irene (Gash) Thomas, she married Frank Norton on February 14, 1971 in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Michelle Emig of Pekin; two sons, Chris (Jillian) Norton and Dustin Norton both of Pekin; one granddaughter, Andrea Emig of Pekin and one brother, Allen Thomas also of Pekin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Nora and Jennifer Thomas.

Karen was a homemaker for many years and enjoyed the time she spent with her children.

In her free time she loved going for drives and going out to eat with her family. Karen was also a bingo player and enjoyed watching WWE wrestling. She loved her family and her dogs and will be missed by all.

Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Grafelman Farms Rescue, 404 N Capitol St, Pekin IL 61554.
