Karla K Artemenko

Born October 31, 1962 in Galesburg to Terry and Karen (Johnson) Baughman, she married Taras Artemenko on July 6, 2008 at the Jersey Shore in New Jersey.

Surviving are one son, Terry Baughman of New Jersey; three grandchildren; four sisters, Lisa (Larry) Byrd of Arizona, Lori (Ed) Tompkins and Dana Ahmed, both of New Jersey, Larrie (Darin) Trione-Olsen of Georgia and one brother, Shawn Lankford of Arizona.

Karla was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pekin where she had volunteered with the Food Bank. She loved going to the church and always appreciated her church family.

She enjoyed cooking andriding her Harley Davidson motorcycle. She dearly loved her grandchildren and dogs, Bear and Hugger.

There will be no services or visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
