She was born January 9, 1952 in Clinton Arkansas to Wayne and Mildred (Presley) Barnum. Her father preceded her in death.
Surviving are her mother of Pekin; one son, Matthew (Jennifer) Barnum of Pekin; one granddaughter, Alison Barnum of Pekin; three brothers, Charles Barnum of Havana, Jack Barnum and Alan Barnum, both of Pekin; two sisters, Karen Sidell and Linda Tindall, both of Pekin; and several nieces and nephews.
Kathie was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in North Pekin.
She was a homemaker.
Her memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2010at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Lloyd Brock will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
