Born December 10, 1949 in Peoria, she was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Julia (Killian) Drohan.
Surviving are her brother, Patrick Drohan, C.S.V. of McHenry, Illinois; several cousins and many close friends who were dear to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant sister, Margaret Drohan.
Kathleen was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School and Academy of Our Lady in Peoria. She also attended Illinois Central College. She always enjoyed participating and planning in school reunions at St. Joseph.
Kathleen worked for Keystone Steel & Wire Company in Bartonville in customer service for 37 years, retiring in 2015. She previously worked for OSF Saint Francis Medical Center for 10 years as a secretary in the Dietary Department.
She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her positive disposition, infectious smile and that she always talked well of others.
Kathleen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.
Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek and Father Gary Blake will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin.
