

She was born July 23, 1959 in Peoria to William and Delores (Patterson) Teufel, Sr. Her parents preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one uncle, Terry Miller; one aunt, Betsy Patterson; sister-in-law, Paula Teufel; and her beloved dogs, Tank and Babygirl.
Surviving are one daughter, Stephanie Smiles of North Pekin; three brothers, William (Jan) Teufel, Jr. of Germantown Hills, Thomas (Debra) Teufel of Pekin, and Robert (Janet) Teufel of Roanoke; two aunts, Judy Miller of Pekin and Susann Jones of Marengo; uncle, Carl Patterson of Kingston Mines; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Kathleen was a cook for the 801 Club in Bartonville for 20 years and at Bradley University for seven years.
She loved to cook in her free time and also enjoyed puzzles, reading, spending time with family, and loved animals, especially dogs.
Kathleen was of the Lutheran faith.
Celebration of life open house will be held 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at Germantown Hills Fire Department in Germantown Hills, IL.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
