She was born January 30, 1958 in Peoria to Hartzell and Alice (Johnson) Kramm.
Surviving are her mother of Pekin; one daughter, Claire Preston of Pekin; two sisters, Deborah (Gary) Kramm-Baiz of New York City and Nancy (Chris) Holtz of Sacramento, California; and one brother, Steve (Kris) Kramm of Hollister, California.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Kathryn owned and operated Kathryn's "Just Like Home" Day Care Center in Citrus Heights for 8 years before coming to Pekin in March 2009 to care for her mother.
She loved caring for her family, cooking, gardening and being a homemaker.
A private Celebration of Life Gathering will be held. Cremation will be accorded.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.
