Kenneth R Blanch

Born April 24, 1965 in Peoria to Marion “Bud” and Shelby (Johnson) Blanch, he married Beverly Joan Atwood on March 12, 1981 in East Peoria. She died February 16, 1990. He was also preceded in death by his mother.

Surviving are two daughters, Amanda (Joe) Pickens of Washington and Brooke Blanch of Creve Coeur; one son, Justin (Shana) Blanch of Pekin; five grandchildren; his father, Marion “Bud” Blanch of East Peoria; two sisters, Monica (Dave) Drake of Kerrville, TX and Jennifer Blanch of East Peoria, who was his caregiver for the past 15 years; four brothers, Terry (Carol) Blanch, Ron (Dee) Blanch, Kim (Diana) Blanch, and Jeff (Debbie) Blanch, all of East Peoria; and his grandmother, Rose Gold of Washington.

Kenny last worked for Todd Uniforms in Morton.

Kenny enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and watching wrestling. He loved his “grandbabies”

His funeral will be at 5 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur, where visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral.
