He was born November 28, 1950 in Pekin to Harold and Bessie (Fahnders) Ramsey. His parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Harold Ramsey and one sister, Cynthia Counterman.
Surviving are one daughter, Tracy (Troy) Mott of Marion; one son, Nicholas “Nick” (Alexia) Ramsey of Chicago; three grandchildren, Barnaby Ramsey, Charles “Charlie” Ramsey and Zoee Schmittner; one sister, Sheila Schumm of Pekin; one brother, Daniel “Danny” Ramsey of Pekin and several nieces and nephews.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Ken worked at the Quaker Oats Factory.
He enjoyed watching football, going fishing, and harassing his grandchildren.
Inurnment will be at a later date at War Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Pekin.
Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
