Kevin L Edwards

He was born January 7, 1963 in Pekin to Veneda Edwards Clauson.  She preceded him in death.

Surviving are one son, Austin Edwards of Pekin; and two brothers, Steven Null and Brad Clauson, both of Pekin.

Kevin was a veteran of the United States Navy.  He was a member of the Roy L. King Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1232, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 1869, the Pekin Moose Family Center 916, and the Tobin Naninga Marine Corps League Attachment #085, all in Pekin.

He had worked as a laborer out of Laborer's Local 231 in Pekin for 10 years.  He previously had worked for Keystone Steel & Wire in Bartonville and the Union Pacific Railroad.

Kevin enjoyed fishing, hunting and finding a good bargain.  He also was a talented chef.

His visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  The family will host a memorial service to be announced at a later date.  Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation.

Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
