PEKIN ~ Kyla Frost, 21, of Pekin, passed away at 4:30 a.m., Monday, November 12, 2012 at Pekin Hospital.
She was born September 2, 1991 in Bay City, Michigan to David Frost and Christine LaFave.
Surviving are her mother of Pekin; father and step-mother, David and Angie Frost of Bay City; grandparents, Eileen and Elmer Tackman of Essexville, Michigan, Ben and Darlene Frost of Bay City, and Kathleen Frost of San Diego, California; 1 brother, C.J. Brooks of Pekin; 1 sister, Amelia Phillips of Pekin; and 2 step-sisters, Tatum and Aralyn Hantla, both of Bay City . Also surviving is her boyfriend Anthony Mansini of Pekin.
Kyla enjoyed art, music, shopping and spending time with her family.
Her funeral will be at 4 p.m., Thursday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Rev. W. Lloyd Brock will officiate. Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:45 p.m. prior to the funeral. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral.
