Born September 5, 1939 in Peoria to Gerald and Iva (Conover) Bugg, he married Dixie Martin on January 25, 1962 in Pekin. She died March 24, 2017.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Eugene Bugg and Roy Bugg; and one sister, Alice Walraven.
Surviving are one daughter, Lori (Thomas) Brown of Pekin; one son, Darren Bugg of Pekin; five grandchildren, Lacey Bugg, Keri Bugg, Skylar (Gene) Arnold, Michael Brown and Nickolas Brown; four great-grandchildren, Ceara, Avianna, Tierney, Freya and Grayson; and two sisters, Darlene Schrieter of Peoria and Donna (Dick) Parlier of Mapleton.
Larry worked as a forklift driver at Caterpillar, Inc. for 38 years, retiring in 2000.
He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
