Leotha M Broyles

Born March 14, 1926 in Cowden to Richard and Bessie (Taylor) Nance, she married Earl F. Broyles on April 9, 1945 in Pekin. He died December 28, 1995 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by one brother.

Surviving are one son, Richard Earl "Rick" (Lynn) Broyles of Loudon, Tennessee; one daughter, Shirlee Hamilton of San Diego, California; two grandsons, James (Jennifer) Broyles of Hamilton, Massachusetts and Christopher (Carrie) Broyles of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; one sister, Betty (Joe) Prytiscosh of Pekin and one brother, Carl (Kay) Nance of Port Orange, Florida.

Leotha worked as the Director of Housekeeping at Pekin Hospital for many years, retiring in the early 1970's.

She enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She also enjoyed reading.

There will be no services or visitation. Her body was donated to medical science. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.
