Lillian V Jones

Born April 16, 1922 in Varna to Axel and Minnie (Carlson) Nyman, she married Julius Jones on February 20, 1949 in Peoria. He died on September 26, 2008 in Phoenix, Arizona. She is survived by one son, Gregg (Valerie) Jones of Phoenix.

Lillian worked at Caterpillar, Inc. and retired in 1993. She then moved to Arizona.

She was the most loving and supportive mom anyone could ever hope to have in their lives. She will be missed more than words can express.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Peoria.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
