Linda L Koehlhoeffer

Born August 25, 1944 in Avon to Eugene and Hazel (Warren) Kreps, she married Phillip H. Koehlhoeffer on March 24, 1989 in Mackinaw. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother, Hazel Mason of Bushnell; one brother, Stephen (Phyllis) Kreps of Avon; one step-brother, Larry (Deb) Mason of Bushnell; Richard Sauder, of Pekin, whom she helped mentor for twenty one years; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Phillip; and two sisters, Kathryn Moeller and Gertrude Woodsmall.

Linda was a member of the Pekin First Church of the Nazarene.

She had worked as a math teacher for Mackinaw Junior High School for 32 years.

Following her retirement, she worked at Pekin Walmart and also at the Pekin Hospital. She enjoyed playing softball and enjoyed country western dancing. She loved going to senior exercise classes and being on her computer.

Linda was an active mentor through the Illinois Mentors. She was secretary of the Homeowners Association at Pekin Villas.

She was kind and loving to everyone she met and will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 at Pekin First Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Lloyd W. Brock will officiate. There will be no visitation. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with expenses.
