Lois Anne Keedy

Born February 4, 1946 in Peoria to James and Florene (Ballinger) Vaughan, she married Jack Keedy on April 13, 1974 in Pekin. He died April 18, 2009. Also preceding Lois in death are her parents; two brothers, Ronnie and Gene Vaughan; her childhood caretaker, Martha St. Clair; many brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and her two beloved dogs, Sawyer and Sophie.

Surviving are two children, Stephanie (Rob) Chitwood and Zack (Jill) Keedy, both of Pekin; her boyfriend, Bill Faichney; two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Lois was a purchasing agent at Keystone Steel & Wire Company in Bartonville for 35 years before retirement.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, camping and spending time with family and friends.

Lois was a member of Free Methodist Church in East Peoria.

Her visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday July 10, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Cremation has been accorded.
