Born November 22, 1932 in Dillon to Albert and Agnes (Lohmann) Fleckenstein, she married Robert G. Litz, Sr. on July 8, 1953 in Pekin. He died October 3, 2006.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert G. Litz, Jr.; one sister, Anna Fleckenstein and “Uncle Walt” Lohmann.
Surviving are her son, David Litz of Pekin; one grandson, Travis Litz of Eagan Minnesota and one brother, Al Fleckenstein, Jr. of Creve Coeur.
Louise was a cook for Pekin Public Schools District 108.
She enjoyed cooking at home and was quite the crafter. Louise liked to knit and crochet.
Her graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Dillon Cemetery in Tremont. Pastor Steve Weber will officiate. There will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory.
