

Born on August 4, 1962 in Havana, he was the son of Harry Regis and Dixie Lee (Todd) Seiss.
Surviving are his mother of Pekin; one daughter, Morgan Seiss of Marquette Heights; two grandchildren, Amelia Seiss and Finneas Seiss, both of Marquette Heights; three siblings, Sherry (Dave) Redfield of Pekin, Janice (Mike) Davis of North Pekin and Jeff (Shannon) Seiss of Pekin and his life long friend, Grant (Nancy) Kerley of Marquette Heights.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Lynn is a veteran of the United States Army where he served 12 years in active duty and served in Desert Storm.
He worked as a correctional officer for more than 20 years in Lincoln for the State of Illinois. Lynn retired in 2020.
Lynn loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, shooting and archery. He was a member of Pekin Archery Range. Above all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was a member of Summit Point Church in East Peoria. He was passionate and loved being active in the church.
His funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Tim Harkness and Pastor Steve McGinnis will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
