

He was born on January 21, 2026 in Peoria to Owen and Cynthia (Schabatka) Atkins.
Surviving are his parents of Hanna City; maternal grandparents, Sean and Jessica Schabatka of Glasford; paternal grandparents, Heather (Christopher) Kelly of Homosassa, Florida and Christopher (Larissa) Atkins of Creve Coeur; maternal great-grandparents, Carrie and Guy Wallinger; paternal great-grandmother, Kay Young; two uncles, Michael Schabatka and Trenton Kinder; two aunts, Fallyn Kinder and Audrey Kelso and her honorary aunts, Hayley Bushong and Paige Rickena.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Sheri Atkins; his great-grandmother, Sheri Schabatka and his great-grandfather, Steve Young.
Magnus was the happiest baby who was always smiling and had a great soul. He wasn’t afraid to share his opinion and showed every emotion he felt.
A celebration of Magnus’s life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Megan’s Lodge in Wildlife Prairie Park, Hanna City. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
