Born June 8, 1943 in Lincoln to Ernest and Gladys (Dickson) Bloom, she married Terry Lee Deakin on December 8, 1962 in Pekin. He died on October 1, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are two sons, Scott (Kim) Deakin of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and Doug (Suzi) Deakin of Manito; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A homemaker, Marge enjoyed spending time with her family, helping take care of the grandchildren and hanging out with her friends.
A celebration of Marge’s life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Marge's home. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
