Margaret Elizabeth Pratt

Born July 17, 1924 in Peoria to Oscar and Anna (Steinseifer) Schultz, she married David Lee Pratt on July 12, 1962 in Bloomington.  He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Cheryl Lynn (James) Hayes of Peoria and two grandsons, William Hayes and Anthony Hayes.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Peggy Ann Elmore.

Peg was a former member of the Blue Eye United Methodist Church in Blue Eye, Missouri. 

She worked as the assistant activities director for Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria.  She later worked for Medical Surgical Supply in Peoria, working with Peoria area hospitals.

Peg was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Limestone Fire Department.  She also was a volunteer at Skaggs Hospital in Branson, Missouri. 

Her hobbies included fishing, traveling, doing crafts, cooking and entertaining.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  The Rev. Ronald E. Little will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Smithville Cemetery near Hanna City.
