CREVE COEUR ~ Margie Lucille Dickson, 80, of 121 Oaklawn Circle, passed away at 6:55 a.m. Monday, July 4, 2011 at Fondulac Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in East Peoria.
Born November 26, 1930 in Clarksville, Tennessee to John and Maggie Heflin, she married Robert Dickson on December 31, 1948 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Terry (Carol) Dickson of Lewistown and Bobby (Janet) Dickson of Low Point; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and five sisters.
A homemaker, Margie enjoyed baby dolls.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2011 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Pastor Jim Brown will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Metamora.
Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
