

She was born October 20, 1944 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Samuel and Julia (Sanchez) Lay Kong. Her parents preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by nineteen brothers and sisters.
Surviving are three daughters, Sharleene Lipowsky of Blue Mound, Crystal Tuttle of Decatur and Tracey Tuttle of Pekin; one son, Allden Tuttle of Pekin and four grandchildren, Dakota Tuttle, Sierra Tuttle, Cheyenne Tuttle, all of Pekin and Gannon Shuppara of Decatur.
Marie was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Danville and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.
She formerly worked for Teepak, L.L.C. in Danville, where she made casings for the food industry.
Marie loved spending time with her family and enjoyed playing the game.
Her funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Father James Pankiewicz will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the Mass at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
